On opening weekend in April, we invited our friends and local neighbors from Clinton Cheese and Provisions to share some of their distinctive cheeses with our Tasting Room visitors. They served an assortment to complement our white wines, méthode champenoise sparkling wines and our elegant dessert wines.
We are continuing our popular Cheese Pairing Series this weekend! We warmly welcome Chaseholm Farms to Clinton Vineyards. Located in Pine Plains, this multi-generation farm is one of a small group of Farmstead operations in New York State that produce cow’s milk cheese from their farm’s own herd.
On Saturday and Sunday, they bring their distinctive Camembert to our Tasting Room. All guests who purchase a wine flight tasting will enjoy the Chaseholm Camembert, crafted in the Old World style from the whole cow’s milk, ripened to perfection in their caves.
The Chaseholm Camembert will pair wonderfully with several of our wines, notably the Cassis and our signature Seyval Blanc 2013 Victory White. Visitors will have the opportunity to buy Chaseholm Camembert to take home.
This weekend, come to Clinton Vineyards for the second in our Cheese Pairing Series. One taste of Chaseholm Camembert and you will feel transported to the Normandy countryside in France.
