Seyval Blanc 2012 — Victory White was officially launched at a special reception on September 18. It sparked international headlines.
Victory White was uncorked to encourage Hillary Clinton to run for the presidency in 2016. The wine was first released in 1992, inspired by Bill Clinton’s election, and a 1996 vintage was released for his re-election. Victory White 2008 supported Hillary Clinton’s run for the presidency.
Clinton Vineyards wines were also served during the historic 1995 summit meeting between President Clinton and Russian leader Boris Yeltsin and was also given as gifts to attendees of Chelsea Clinton’s 2010 wedding.
Victory White’s 2012 vintage is a classic seyval blanc, perfectly balanced with refreshing floral and citrus notes. It arrives buttery-soft on the palate with a long clean finish. Elegant as a sipping wine, it also displays a confident versatility with food, pairing well with poultry, seafood and fish, as well as a wide range of ethnic cuisines.
