On Saturday, June 24th, Clinton Vineyards celebrated the 40th vintage release of our Seyval Blanc 2016 with live music and a pop-up Farmers' Market featuring local vendors including Canoe Hill - oysters, Hoofprint Cheese - goat cheese, Rock Steady Farm - flowers and produce and Smellz Good - goat milk soaps, lotions and natural sprays.
Everyone LOVED the 2016 and most purchased two or more bottles!!
Phyllis Feder, owner of the vineyard, describes the 40th vintage with great enthusiasm. "Last year, the conditions were great for growing and it is reflected in the wine. It's as if all the good forces have come together to produce a really outstanding vintage, and it is so exciting that it should be our 40th!"
Bob Brink, of Arlington Wines agrees, having said "The 2016 Clinton Vineyards Seyval Blanc is a joy to drink, and quite possibly the finest seyval blanc the winery has produced. Very aromatic, with inviting ripe pear and floral notes reminiscent of honeysuckle, this has lovely weight and vibrant fruit character. The palate features an abundance of pear flavors and mouth-watering acidity that begs for another sip. Congratulations to Phyllis Feder on the 40th anniversary of making extraordinary wines in the Hudson Valley!"
Thank you Bob!!
Stay tuned for future event announcements celebrating our 40th vintage year!!!
